There's always a first for everything Our first homemade dinner in Texas Boys first day of their new school As well as our first Sunday in our new ward ...some were filled with nerves but went fabulously 

We FINALLY made it to Texas and are setting in.  After lots of packing, then loading, car accident, Idaho hospital, Utah recovery, plane flight, staying in Texas Hotel and finally closing on our new home. Whew! That was quite the journey to get where we are. Something must be in store for us!

Following the accident we spent a week in Utah to recover a little bit before heading to Texas. It was full of so many emotion's as well as being incredible sore. We canceled all of our previous plans and events and just hunkered down. The Benson drove up from Ferron to check on us, even my dad Greg reached out to see us. It was a little been of an emotional tornado trying to work through what an experience like that does to your mind. Traveling by any means made us all feel a little uneasy. My kids were still trying to make sense of it, our bodies hurt so we really just spent time with family. Time we were so grateful to have. Subaru was pretty incredible and offered to fly my mom out with me and the kids to help us on the plane and get settled since my neck and body were still so sore! We felt so blessed by this amazing company already!

With the month that we have had I knew that my family was being watched over... I didn't know just how watched over until we made the very, very, very dumb last minute decision to drive all night from Oregon to Utah instead of staying at a friend's house (as planned) and waking up early Saturday to start our journey out of Oregon. We were exhausted, we had been preparing our home and family to move halfway across the country. Friday the moving truck finished loading up our stuff, so we cleaned our entire home and decided to just get the drive over with and headed out of Oregon around 7:30 p.m. We thought it would be easier to get the drive over with, we thought it would be easier for kids to sleep through the drive. We thought it would be easier...
