Mason's Birthday Party

PARTY TIME One week from today my oldest turns 8. I can't think of a better way to prepare for that big birthday then by having his first real friend party! It hasn't been easy for him to feel an abundance of happiness this last year but tonight he smiled from ear to ear. On the way home from the party he literally got emotional and could find works other then squeezing his eyes shut and saying "I just feel so happy!" My heart overflowed!

Lost & Found

Sometimes there are moments in life that you can feel impact your heart in a way they'll never be forgotten. That was this visit from Cookie and Bill while we lived in Oregon just months before Billyum passed away. We knew the end was near, he was already so much sicker than he was letting on. This trip was invaluable time. Every photo I took I felt my mind and heart capture the frame. It was literally burned into my mind. That's why when my phone fell from my lap just days after they left which completely broke my phone and lost every single picture was absolutely devastating. I was so sick about it. I tried taking it in and the screen wouldn't work so they said there was nothing they could do. I kept the phone in a drawer because I could not throw it away knowing the images it held inside.
