This year we decided to opt out of Black Friday shopping and spend it outdoors. Best decision ever!

Thanksgiving We weren't able to go home for Thanksgiving this year however lucky for us we have amazing friends to spend it with! We hosted at our home and divided us the food assignments.  It ended up being one yummiest thanksgiving dinners we've ever had. There was sooo much food, we literally ate slow so we could try and eat more! All the kids are such good friends and had so much time playing together!

We sure love our visits to Blanco.  Miss Meggie was so sweet to invite us down over thanksgiving break. It's sooo beautiful down there and Nanna Nancy & Oak are so good to us.  We usually always spend thanksgiving break with family in Toquerville so we were definitely feeling homesick! Which made us so grateful for this getaway where we feel so loved.  We swam (...well the kids swam, CRAZIES), made jam, hiked, talked and the kids just played for hours. 

It's only November but Southlake had their Christmas Tree lighting ceremony so we decided to go over and check it out. The very best part was the man made snow! So funny! We literally had to wait in a line for a good 20-30 mins for it too. I guess now that we live in Texas snow is a foreign luxury.  It was such a fun evening with friends!
