Goodbye's are never fun

"Good friends are hard to find and impossible to forget"

Leaving Oregon has been soooo hard. My whole life growing up I had trouble finding good, true friends. I would have a group of friends but wouldn't always belong. I honestly started to believe good friends just wasn't something I'd have in life. In the last 8 years it seems good, amazing, genuine and deep friendship are all I come across. I have been so blessed to have some of the most incredible people come into my life which makes them so very hard to leave. I was scared to leave my people in Utah only to find amazing people and friends that were supposed to be apart of my story in Oregon so I'm having faith that Texas holds some more pieces. 

I love our friends!

Halloween Festivites Miss Shay got to dress up for Halloween at Preschool but the schools here don't allow costumes so the boys weren't able to wear there's to school but there was plenty of chances to at the ward trunk or treat and then Halloween. We were so excited to have Missy, Dave and the boys still here for Halloween. Some friend also came over and joined us for a fun night of trick or treating around the neighborhood!

What an AMAZING trip! We were fortunate to be able to hop on a plane just days after Christmas this year and take our kids to Southern California. While there we were so excited to be able to visit Mason's birth family. They were amazing tour guides and packed so much into our time there. We were able to have so many awesome experiences! Day 1, we had dinner on the pier and watched the sunset. It was magical. The kids were so excited.  After the sun went down we hopped on the ferry and went over to Balboa Island and got Balboa ice cream bars. It was so fun! It was a long day and by the time we got in the car to make our way back to the hotel the kids were already out! Day 2, we took the kids to DISNEYLAND!  It was so neat to watch the kids experience that atmosphere! They had so much fun and ran from one thing to another.
