4 Years for Miss Shay

Little Miss Shay



She is truly my very best friend. My life forever changed the moment I saw her little button nose on the ultrasound. I walked down to my car in the parking garage after that appointment and cried. I said a very long prayer that if it was meant to be, that the birth mom upstairs who invited me to that ultrasound would choose me to be the mother of her baby girl because I was already in love. That prayer came true.... I've been able to spend every single day in the past 4 years with that beautiful, blue eyed, button nose little girl.

Things about Shay
-She has such a tender heart and is the one in her friend group that ties people together. She gets along with almost anyone and is good at sharing.

-She's been in Joyschool this year and loved every single day of it. She's one smart cookie and loves the social aspect.

Halloween Festivites Miss Shay got to dress up for Halloween at Preschool but the schools here don't allow costumes so the boys weren't able to wear there's to school but there was plenty of chances to at the ward trunk or treat and then Halloween. We were so excited to have Missy, Dave and the boys still here for Halloween. Some friend also came over and joined us for a fun night of trick or treating around the neighborhood!

What an AMAZING trip! We were fortunate to be able to hop on a plane just days after Christmas this year and take our kids to Southern California. While there we were so excited to be able to visit Mason's birth family. They were amazing tour guides and packed so much into our time there. We were able to have so many awesome experiences! Day 1, we had dinner on the pier and watched the sunset. It was magical. The kids were so excited.  After the sun went down we hopped on the ferry and went over to Balboa Island and got Balboa ice cream bars. It was so fun! It was a long day and by the time we got in the car to make our way back to the hotel the kids were already out! Day 2, we took the kids to DISNEYLAND!  It was so neat to watch the kids experience that atmosphere! They had so much fun and ran from one thing to another.
